Our Name: Franklin City Church
We like the word "City" in the name because it is a reminder of the big story of redemption. God's purpose for humanity started in a garden but culminates in a new city Rev. 21:2. It also reflects our desire to genuinely and generously love the city that God has called us to.
Our Logo: Our Prayer for the City of Franklin
The logo is an "F" for Franklin that is angled or "kneeling" to Christ's authority and pointing vertically to God. The three lines and symmetry of the perimeter remind us of the Trinity. It can also be viewed as a mountain or hilltop reminding us of Calvary's "Hill" and that whatever we are to do as a church is only possible because of what Christ has already accomplished on the cross.
This logo summarizes our prayer for the city of Franklin. That our gaze would be directed up to God. That our hearts would bow to the Lordship of Christ. And that by the power of the Spirit we would be transformed as the gospel is proclaimed.

Our Mission & Vision: Gospel-Centered
We desire to be a people focused on the gospel who want to see Christ transform the City. By the grace of God we will exist to Behold, Build, Bless.
Beholding God
2 Corinthians 3:18
18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
Building up the body of Christ
Ephesians 4:11-16
11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood,[c] to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
Blessing the City
Jeremiah 29:7
7 But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.
