It does speak of how we are to submit to a church and its leaders. Pray that people would have a desire to not just "attend" our church but to belong and submit to it. Pray that the elders would have discernment in who to install as a covenant member or gospel partner at Franklin City Church. Also, pray that we would develop a healthy church membership process. "A church member is a person who has been officially and publicly recognized as a Christian, as well as someone who shares in the same authority of officially affirming and overseeing other Christians in his or her church." Church Discipline Pray that as we help others follow Jesus (make disciples), we would lovingly correct sin and point one another towards the truth. Pray that it would be done biblically and out of a desire for the individual to be reconciled to God and to the church. “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector." 21 Days of Prayer

We are eager to install more elders that are called by God, biblically qualified, and confirmed by the church. However, we do want to be careful, cautious, and discerning before installing someone into the office of eldership.
